Moving On

Master jewelry students at the Royal College of Art in London present their newly formed collective: Moving On. It’s a live exhibition where the students show contemporary designs in glass jars, which they wear on their bodies. They want to encourage live interaction with passers, in the street, on the tube or in busses.

By showing their work in glass jars they want to open the debate regarding the accessibility and knowledge of contemporary jewelry and objects. The Moving On collective encourage the public to touch their work to counteract the traditional notion that jewelry is kept isolated in glass cabinets of galleries and museums.
