Industrial Aesthetics
Marion de Raucourt designs caught my eye while going through the Hyères festival candidates. Applying assembly methods of packaging on to clothes inspires her work. This results into a functional, minimal collection with industrial aesthetics.
The combination of black jersey, vegetable leather and wood is what makes this collection so intriguing to me. The combination of colors, materials and shape gives this collection an architectural facet without losing the portability aspect.
The designs look very minimal yet extremely detailed. This is the result of extremely well thought-out assembly techniques.
The accessories are most definitely Marion’s best designs. The backpack, handbag and shoe designs look very minimal, but they are designed extremely clever and functional.
A really impressive and very time-consuming collection since every single detail is of great importance.
