Pur Sang

One day, one bag. That is what Amen Studio developed for Eastpak. As part of the “Bag in Town” competition, Eastpak and Instituto Europeo di Design Milano called out for young designers to think about the ideal city bag; one that can be used for 24 hours straight, while bearing in mind its relationship towards the environment, urban mobility and the changing needs of its users. The Pur Sang collection came out first, and Amen Studio was asked to develop and design an entire line based on their prototypes.

The two young Italian designers behind Amen, Ilaria Corrieri and Federica Ghinoi, were inspired by the urban city dweller for whom function and fashion go hand in hand. This results in a trendy collection, but with a sophisticated touch of simplicity. Ingenious details, subtle colours, practical pockets and modular compartments allow the bags to be adapted to particular needs and new situations. Going out from the belief that a bag has to be lived, each design is dynamic, sturdy and made from high quality fabric.
