Lava

LAVA is a decorative set of plates, carved in volcanic stone in combination with brass accents. Designed by Mexican studio Peca, the plates are reminiscent of their cultural roots but reworked in a modern design. The manufacturers have a thorough knowledge of the material: “In the hands of the craftsman who caresses and polished it, the wild stone texture becomes a sensible and human object.” The sculptural look makes this collection handy in use yet easy on the eye as well.
