Surrealistic Hero

The Hero, Delvaux's reedition of the Brilliant, is a success already, not just because of its design but even more because of its magnificent campaign, shot by photographer Marie Wynants.

When Delvaux decided their Brilliant needed a regeneration, they called for the assistance of 24 year old Belgian photographer Marie Wynants to express her vision on the world of Delvaux. A vision that is monumental yet pure, playful and young.  

It's no secret the house of Delvaux is fond of Belgian surrealism since they've played with Magritte's heritage more than often. Wynants presents a new found surrealism showing the playfulness of twin models, in a uniform, in an organic but measured landscape in symmetric artificial poses. 

The Hero collection is available in select Delvaux boutiques from February 15th.
