Happy Birthday to Colette

Parisian concept store Colette celebrates a very happy 20th birthday at The Beach.

Colette, the most reknowned concept store in the world, couldn't possibly let its 20th birthday pass by unnoticed. So they invited New York based collaborative Snarkitecture to showcase their traveling installation The Beach in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs for the visitors to play and relax.

Snarkitecture created an unexpected design view on the classical interpretation of the natural and cultural elements of a beach experience. The Beach was built up out of everyday materials, Snarkitectures trademark, like plastic balls, mirrors, panels, scaffolds, ...

The Beach is to be visited from 21 to 25 March.
