we're back
After being invited by the Biennale Interieur to curate and host the official Interior design shop in 2018, we are moving the third edition of supermarket to Firma II, the newest Firma location in the center of Brussels, from 12 to 22 December 2019.
The concept is as simple as it is cool. In our BARONESS O. SUPERMARKET we stack the shelves with national and international, emerging brands in clothing, books, design, accessories, beauty, food and drinks, … At the checkout, all that beauty is gift wrapped nicely.
That time of year, remember?
a love story
We, Anne and Kim from Baroness O., are happy to put all of our shared love for upcoming design in supermarket. It is basically part of our nature to be non-stop on the look out for new, beautiful and good design objects around the world and on the worldwide web.
What we love about discovering emerging brands, and what we translate in supermarket, is that art and design can be affordable, despite the fact that the pieces are always original and sometimes even unique.
For supermarket we made a selection of our favorite, upcoming designers and labels of the moment. Our dream team, if you wish.
let’s look ahead
With supermarket we want visitors to step into a total experience. They cannot only spot, try and buy items in real life, that they, until then, often could only check out online. Our in-house lunchbar Cantines serves a good cup of coffee and healthy and vegetarian comfort food. During the weekends Cantine serves a decent, all-day brunch and …apero.
Creative studio Baroness O. pays great attention to the selection of the brands, to the branding and teams up once more with Keper Architecten for the scenography.
supermarket featuring …
No matter how hard we from Baroness O. believe in our concept, without rock-solid brands who believe in supermarket, together with us, we are nothing. supermarket lives or dies with a very careful selection of (inter)national talent that must be discovered.
That’s why we are super proud we can announce labels such as AKT magazine, Argot Studios, Axelle Vertommen, Bieke Buckinx, Caroline Bosmans, Doorzon, Emely Van Impe, Emma De Meulenare, Escuyer, Fleurs d’hiver, Fragmenture, Genster Ceramics, Gestalten, Jukserei, Lara Frankl, Luca Beel en Adriaan Tas, Luster Books, Maddalena Annunziata, Max Enrich, Nona, Oliver Sundqvist and Frederik Nystrup Larsen, Roos Vandekerckhove, Stand van Zaken, Toykyo, Woche, … and there are more to come.
