Building Blocks

A while ago I virtually bumped into Building Block, a design project by the sisters Kimberly and Nancy Wu, who are based in Los Angeles. Building Block focuses on luxury and industrial design where utilitarian materials and processes lead into minimalistic forms. This process leads to continuous elimination with the intent of creating the most pure object with the fewest elements.
Every little detail is extremely important, it takes an enormous amount of perfectionism to be able to continue this process and deliver high quality.

The word is out that they will also start designing furniture and other items, I’m very curious to find out how that will evolve.
