For the 5th time now, Stockholm is home to both Swedish Design Week and the Örnsberg Auction.
Designers are responding to mass production, happening far from the city and country of origin, by gathering fellow skill practicers to share knowledge of materials and traditions within design. These singular, non-commercial pieces are being collected and put on sale through the Örnsberg Auction.
Örnsbergsauktionen is a self-organized project by three Swedish designers. The project shows the process between idea and finished product, reducing the distance between designer and client.
The small cycle items are being exhibited from 7 - 10 February and will be auctioned on the 10th of February.
