Psychedelic Home
What happens to a home when it is not build from a functional view, but solely from a sculptural belief? What happens if a home is no longer predominated by function, but aesthetics and art take over?
HOME is an exhibit by the artistic duo Lea Hein and Magnus Pettersen who turn everyday life materials into sculptures. In HOME they transform mirror polished objects in combination with a colorful tiled floor into a reactive installation, based on the movement of it's inhabitant.
When the inhabitant moves around, the floor comes alive and the furniture becomes a part of the movement, just like it's inhabitant. The room turns into a psychedelic animation.
Visit HOME at Etage Projects Gallery in Copenhagen until 1 April.
